About Jim

Jim Wilson is a freelance cartoonist, illustrator, and designer providing a variety of services including posters, character design, storyboarding, animation, logo/identity, image retouching & restoration, front end web design, and video production.

He recently earned his BA in Visual Communications from Westwood College where he graduated with a 3.91 GPA and two Student ADDY Awards. In addition to the work he did there, Jim has extensive experience with independent video production, image retouching, and gig posters as well as identity and promotional collateral for local businesses and groups.

In his free time, Jim may sometimes be found on the stages of seedy bars performing bits of comedy, dance, and other shenanigans.

I'm looking to connect with other creatives in the North Texas area interested in collaborating, particularly on animation and comics related projects. My background is in film, which I still love to do, but I'm currently exploring graphic forms of visual storytelling.
